What a difference a week makes - they have learned how to perch and they practice flying from the bottom of the cage to the top. Learning how to eat seeds but still want their formula every couple of hours. They preen their feathers and one of them has mastered sleeping on the perch with its head tucked under its wing.
Teca still is very fascinated with them and still watches me feed them.
Won't be long until they are ready for the big outside world.

Very sweet birdies! Great job by all of those involved in the rescue efforts! You'll have to try to snap a pic when they do decide to leave the cage. I'm sure your yard will be on their frequently visited list!
Are you actually going to free them? I thought maybe you and Teca have gotten attached and don't want to let them go.
